Congratulations to Natalie Anderson for winning the helmet
raffle at the Panda Cubs Workshop.
Sportswear order forms have been sent home. Inventory is limited so
please act quickly. Orders will be filled through June 6, 2009.
Thank you so much for your support this year in purchasing TRES PTA
Sportswear. With your help, we did a fantastic job of reducing our current
inventory to make room for some new items next year! Have a Great Summer!!!

Staff Appreciation week is the week of May 4th
- 8th. We have a couple opportunities to help you show your appreciation
to the staff that work all year with our children. On Tues. May 5th, we
have our annual boxed lunches. We provide lunch to each and every staff
member and we need your help to accomplish that. Room parents are taking
care of each teacher, but we need help with all, secretaries, principal,
asst. principal, custodial, cafeteria workers, specialists, specials teachers.,
instructional assistants etc. Please call Diana at 301-829-6097 or Jenn
at 301-789-1929 to sign up to make that special staff member a lunch for
that day. Staff will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. On
Fri. we will be providing the teachers with a lunch as well, so we could
use an appetizer or dessert. Thanks for all your help.

It’s not too late to join the PTA! It’s a fantastic way to demonstrate
your support for our teachers and our school, and at the same time show
your children that their education is extremely important. …We’d love to
add your children’s names to the PTA wall.

Twin Ridge Cookbooks for sale for $10. Cookbooks make a great gift for the
holidays. Think about getting one as a memento for your TRES student. Please
contact Noreen Beck to purchase one or look for a flyer in your Thursday
folder.

The Memory Book Committee would like you to send in pictures of your
5th grader for the Memory Book.
We are asking your permission to photograph your 5th grade student during
school parties, field trips and other special events at school for the
sole purpose in making the Memory Book. The book will be available to
all students as part of the fundraising efforts for the year-end celebration.
