Over the last couple of school years, the PTA has tried to incorporate a foreign language program into Twin Ridge. This year, I have offered an Introductory Spanish program for Kindergarten and First Grade. The program has received very good reviews from the parents. I would like to expand the Foreign Language program to all grades for the next school year. A Spanish class would be offered for 20 weeks most likely meeting once a week from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM. It's possible French may be offered too. This will not be a club program. There will be a registration fee as we are using an outside source for teachers and teaching materials.
To facilitate planning for next year, please call or email me to let me know if this is something you would be interested in for your child. I'd like to know if you are interested in a Foreign Language program? Is before or after school better? What language would you be interested in (Spanish, French)? Any other comments would be helpful.
