Based on our belief that it takes the entire school community to educate our children, the TRES PTA will endeavor to accomplish the following goals during the 2007-08 school year……
Goal 1:
The TRES PTA will continue to increase the active participation of both the teachers (T) and the parents (P) within the PTA
by promoting enrichment and family activities which encourage and facilitate greater participation among the TRES staff and the parent community
by creating more opportunities for parents and teachers to volunteer with PTA committees and Executive Board responsibilities
by increasing the attendance of both TRES staff and parents at the PTA General meetings
by working together as a team to support the children, staff, and programs of TRES
Goal 2:
The TRES PTA will continue to strive to increase communication with the families and teachers of Twin Ridge Elementary School students
by increasing electronic communication and fully utilizing the monthly PTA Newsletter, the PTA bulletin board, and the Thursday folder system
by searching for creative means of communicating with the parents who aren't closely engaged with daily activities at TRES
by increasing the attendance of both TRES staff and parents at the PTA General meetings
