It was great to see
so many new and familiar faces at Back To School Night. I hope you got a chance
to stop by and visit the PTA tables in the Media Center.. My name is Chrissy
Jongezoon and I am the president of the Twin Ridge Elementary School PTA and
mother of 2 TRES students in K and 5th. Because communication is a vital part
of our success, it will be modified this year to meet the demands of a greener
environment, computer oriented society and busy families. There will be a TRES
PTA Communication Packets sent home in Thursday folders approx every 4-6 weeks.
You will also have the ability to sign up to receive the Communication Packets,
forms, surveys and updates electronically as well as reference all information
on the TRES PTA website. We hope you will join the PTA. There are many PTA sponsored
activities, clubs and events throughout the year in which to participate. In
addition, there will be four general membership meetings. On those nights we
partner with the school and serve a light dinner, conduct a short business meeting,
enjoy a short musical performance by a group of students, and end the night
with either a family oriented program or a speaker. I am excited about the upcoming
year and believe you will find the TRES PTA is a welcoming environment with
a common goal-the happiness and success of our children.
