One of the Spring Clubs is the Kids Care Club. The Club has been meeting on Monday mornings and organizing activities for local Mt. Airy children with cancer. The Club was involved with two projects this spring for Mt Airy children with cancer:

A Skating Fundraiser at Skate Frederick for Jacqueline Hobbs, former TRES student and currently in 6th grade at NMMS. TRES families contributed to this fundrasier and almost $2,000 was raised. Jacqueline is currently undergoing chemo treatment. Keep updated on her progress or sign her guestbook/leave her a message on her Caring Bridge Site:

The Kids Care Club also organized a "Purple Drive" for MacKenzie Stuck, a Mt Airy 5th grader who also has cancer. MacKenzie's favorite color is purple and the club collected new and gently used purple items to give to MacKenzie to keep or share with others at the hospital. MacKenzie will be spending much time at or near the hospital for the next several months. Keep updated on her progress or sign her guestbook/leave her a message on her caring Bridge Site:

Some TRES families have asked how to make direct donations to a family. Donations are accepted through the Erik Lerch Foundation. T-shirts to show support of both girls are also available through the Erik Lerch Foundation site:
